The project Preview tab allows users in agency and client teams to upload, review, edit, and comment on designs.

Pinning

Use pinning to collaborate on designs with your agency. With pinning, you can mark up designs, pin notes to specific sections, and comment.

Pinning Mode

To mark up designs, click on the dropdown at the top right of the screen and switch to Pinning mode. This mode enables a toolkit that can be accessed by clicking on any part of the design.

Adding Pins

Add pins by clicking on the design in the area you want to indicate. Clicking will open a small popup with options to comment, adding shapes, and link. With pins, you can mark up specific parts of a design.

##Auto-timer

When someone is reviewing and place their first pin during a review, the auto-send timer automatically starts! This makes sure that their review will be shared with the agency team. They can always turn off the timer in the banner so their review will not auto-send.

Files

Uploading Files

Upload files by clicking the Upload file button in the middle of the screen, or by using the + icon. Once a file is uploaded, you can view the file and switch between files by clicking on the tabs.

File Versions

When uploading a new file to the preview tab, version number 0.1 is assigned. You can view the versions by clicking the version button.

When you click the file versions button, a side panel opens. Here, you can view the versions, download each version, and view the history of each version. You can click on the three-dot button to regenerate the image, download a copy, or archive a version.

Adding New Versions

If you have a new version to upload you can upload it by clicking the version button and selecting Upload new version, or by clicking a new tab and uploading the file. If a file has the same name, the system will recognize it and prompt you to confirm that the upload is a new version of the existing document.

Version Statuses

Documents in the Preview tab can have four statuses: Latest internal, Latest client, Internal, or Client. Once a file has been sent to the client, it changes from Internal to Client. The highest version of a document will have the Latest internal or Latest client statuses.

Versioning Number

Files that have not yet been sent to the client for review will remain in version numbers less than 1 (i.e. 0.1 and 0.2). Once sending the design to the client, the version number will switch to 1.0 and continue to increment.

Managing Files

Renaming Files

Once a file is uploaded, agency team members with the proper permissions can edit and rename. Renaming files can be done from the three-dot button in the tab view, as well as by clicking the three-dot button in the version side panel.

Deleting and Archiving

Files can be removed in multiple ways. To completely remove a file and all of the versions, click the Archive button within the versions side panel for a design. You can also remove specific versions by clicking the trashcan icon.
